The design, implementation and ongoing support and maintenance of server infrastructures of small to medium businesses is something that we’re pretty good at. We specialise primarily in Microsoft Server Platforms, but also have some knowledge of Linux server platforms. We have had many years of experience in installing, implementing, and then providing ongoing management of such servers.
So many options...
For a small to medium growing company researching the prospect of a server can be daunting, and we’d like to make it easy for you. A good cup of coffee, a whiteboard and a little investigation on our part will show you what your options are.

You may need to host your own server, go with a hosting company or a combination of both. In all cases it is our policy to offer advice and services that will best suit our customers needs, even if that means we don’t realise as much income as we would have hoped for. We’ve operated that way for years and we’ve gained a high level of trust and loyalty from our customers.
The world of virtualization is upon us…
If you are a medium to large business looking at upgrading your server system, we have considerable experience in the setup of a hyper-visor which would enable your organisation to run a number of virtual servers on one physical server. The virtual servers could perform different tasks (e.g. a mail/web server, FTP server, gateway, etc.). We are able to set up multiple domains and exchange mail servers, all hosted on one physical server.
Which server products do we specialise in?
Here are some of the server solutions we can offer support:
- Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 & 2008
- Microsoft Server 2003 & 2008
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2007, & 2010
- Microsoft ISA Server 2004 & 2006
- Microsoft Threat Management Gateway 2010
- Microsoft DCHP & DNS Server (Various versions)
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 & 2008
- Microsoft Hyper-Visor (i.e. Server 2008)
- Various FTP solutions (i.e. Crush FTP, Filezilla)
And all the other stuff?
Installing a server often requires some knowledge of things like DNS, DHCP, security, trusted websites, SSL certificates etc. Do I go for a dynamic or a static IP? Do I need multiple static IP’s? Does my mail server need to send mail via a commercial SMTP service? Do I lose my mail if my Exchange Server goes offline? How should I administer my domain?
All these questions, we’re on our second cup of coffee by now.
If you have any server queries or requirements, please feel free to contact us for more information on solving your server solution. We’d love to hear from you!
